Cookie Notice
Last updated: [effective date]
This Cookie Notice explains how cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are used across the daat.red website and the operator console at app.daat.red, operated by Red Code Company, s.r.o., IČO 22385151, Děčínská 552/1, Střížkov, 180 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic.
1. The marketing website (daat.red)
The public website at daat.red does not use any cookies for analytics, advertising, profiling or third-party tracking. We do not embed third-party analytics, advertising, social-media or tag-management scripts.
The website uses a single strictly-necessary item stored in your browser's local storage for the following purpose:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
[key name, e.g. theme] | Browser local storage (first-party) | Remembers the colour-theme (light/dark) you selected, so the site displays in your preferred appearance on your next visit | Persists in your browser until you clear it; not transmitted to our servers |
This item stores only a preference value. It does not identify you, does not track your activity, and is not shared with anyone.
Consent
Under Section 89 of the Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications (implementing the ePrivacy Directive) and the guidance of the ÚOOÚ, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, or to remember a display preference the user has actively chosen, does not require prior consent. No consent banner is therefore presented for this item.
Server logs
Our EU hosting infrastructure records standard server request logs (including IP address, timestamp, requested resource, response code and user agent) for security and operational purposes. These are not cookies. They are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. The operator console (app.daat.red)
The operator console is an authenticated application for business users. It uses strictly-necessary cookies and/or local storage for the following purposes:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Authentication and session | Keeping you signed in, maintaining your session securely, and supporting two-factor authentication |
| Security | Protecting against cross-site request forgery and detecting session anomalies |
| Preferences | Remembering interface settings such as language (EN/DE) and colour theme |
[confirm the exact console cookies/local-storage items — names, whether session or persistent, durations, and whether any are set by a third-party authentication or infrastructure provider.]
These technologies are strictly necessary for the console to function and to keep your account secure. They are not used for analytics or advertising. Because access to the console requires authentication and the console is not a public-facing service directed at consumers, these strictly-necessary technologies are used without a separate consent step.
3. Managing cookies and local storage
You can control and delete cookies and local-storage data through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting the theme-preference item on the website will simply cause the site to revert to its default appearance. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies in the console will prevent you from signing in or using the console.
4. Changes to this Notice
If we introduce analytics, measurement or any non-essential technologies in the future, we will update this Notice, identify each technology and its purpose and duration, and — where required — implement a consent mechanism before any non-essential technology is set. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
